They possess high corrosion resistance, good cold workability, and excellent toughness, plasticity, weldability, and non-magnetic properties. They are widely used in heat exchangers, non-magnetic condensers, evaporators, and fluid transportation in industries such as chemical, refining, boilers, and food. Classification
This diagram shows the classification and evolution path of austenitic stainless steel pipes. Based on 18Cr-8Ni, 304 stainless steel (C<0.08%) can form improved grades by adding different alloying elements, such as 321 (+Ti) and 347 (+Nb) to enhance intergranular corrosion resistance, 316 (+Mo) to improve corrosion resistance, and 310 (+Cr+N) to enhance high-temperature oxidation resistance. H grades (C 0.04-0.10%) (TP304H, TP321H, TP347H, TP316H) are suitable for high-temperature environments, with TP347HFG further strengthening high-temperature strength through heat treatment. Additionally, TP310HcBN (+Nb+N) and UNS S30432 (+Cu+N) offer stronger heat and corrosion resistance, suitable for specific industrial applications.
